Twin Falls, Idaho

Twin Falls is the largest city in Southern Idaho and serves as the retail shopping, health care and commercial business hub for the Magic Valley region.  The city of Twin Falls has a population of over 47,000 residents and is located in Twin Falls County.  The county has a population of over 80,000 residents.  With an elevation of 3,745 feet and its location next to the Snake River Canyon, Twin Falls residents enjoy scenic high desert and distant Sawtooth Mountain and south hill views.  Twin falls has beautiful walking paths along the canyon rim and many great parks including the new First Federal park and splash pad, and plentiful shopping and dining options.

The region is called the Magic Valley because of the advent of irrigation canals that allowed the high desert region to be irrigated and turned into farmland.  The Twin Falls agriculture-based businesses are thriving and contribute to a growing number of jobs and population in the area.  Major agriculture and food processing employers include Chobani (and the world's largest yogurt plan), Cliff Bar, Glanbia, Con-Agra, Amalgamated Sugar, Henningsen Cold Storage and Falls Brand Independent Meat.  Other major employers include St Luke’s Health System, Transystems, Walmart, Costco and the College of Southern Idaho.

Twin Falls is also famous for the Evil Knievel Jump Site across the Snake River Canyon, the Beautiful Shoshone Falls (the Niagara of the West) and the Perrine Bridge (where legal BASE jumping is allowed).
